A series of fanarts about the places of the Welcome To Night Vale podcast series, be it the town itself ; a Dark Planet which appears in the visions of its citizens ; the Desert Otherworld peopled with masked warriors fighting across the sky, maybe becoming constellations, which is linked to a house in Night Vale and probably the Dog Park ; the Underground City beneath the City Bowling ; Night Vale's own malevolent counterpart Desert Bluffs ; Nulogorsk, a russian town filled with Night Vale’s penpals of yore, though we don’t know their whereabouts ; or the Memory of Europe through the travels of Cecil Palmer in his youth.
In February 2015, Uel Aramchek, writer specializing in short, weird fiction, started to describe an additional set of arcana, modern ephemerals antipodes to the 22 traditional major arcana. I drew them soon afterwards and a Kickstarter was even made to print a live version of this Tarot.
Each card answers, in order, to the Major Arcana, often defeating or outclassing them. You'll find my interpretation of them below, alongside the original description.
